Evernote replacement? Upnote app review and experiences!

What are the advantages of Upnote? 

Let’s take a look. Here are some common reasons why people switch from Evernote to Upnote.

 Price 

First of all, Upnote is cheaper. You can choose to pay monthly (the price in 2024 is about 8HKD) or buy a permanent membership in one go (the price in 2024 is about 235HKD). 

Compared to Evernote’s monthly payment (the price in 2024 is about 38HKD), Upnote is more flexible and cost-effective because there is no one-time purchase. 

Easy synchronization 

Next, Upnote’s synchronization function is very simple. You just need to log in to your account and you can view and edit your notes on any device. You can use Upnote anytime and anywhere, whether on a computer, tablet or smartphone. 

In addition, Upnote also supports offline operation, so you can view and change your notes even without a network. 

Convenient table function 

Moreover, Upnote’s table function is very convenient. 

You can insert tables in your notes, split rows, add todo boxes, etc. This way, you can better organize and present your information. 

And, Upnote can easily edit blogger’s articles. The format will not be messed up when you paste it. This is a very good function for people who like to write blogs. 

Shortcomings 

Of course, Upnote also has some shortcomings. 

For example, it does not have functions such as time reminders. If you need to set reminders or schedules, you may need to use other apps. 

Also, Evernote’s free version has some limitations. For example, you can only create 50 notes, and there is no table function. 

If you want to experience more functions, you may need to upgrade to the paid version. 

However, Upnote has been constantly updating and improving recently. It has added many useful functions, such as quick access, tags, search, etc. 

Experience sharing 

I personally switched from Notion, but I feel that Upnote is more suitable for me than Notion. 

Notion is also a very powerful note-taking app, but it has some drawbacks that make it inconvenient for me. 

For example, Notion requires a network, and it always takes a little time to open, which is unavoidable. It opens slower when there is more data (in my usage situation).

 And, Notion’s table function does not support markdown, and using the database function instead makes the data bloated and choppy.

 UpNote is enough for me to organize my plans and feedback. So far, my usage feeling is comfortable.
